Today, SanDisk introduces the Sansa Clip+ which is basically the Sansa Clip, a flash-based MP3 player with a microSD slot. Other than that, the Sansa Clip+ brings the same high quality audio to the user. The Sansa Clip+ brings more storage space with a microSD card, which supports up to 16GB of external memory. The Sansa Clip+ comes in three variety of internal memory, which are 2GB, 4GB and 8GB.

You can get your own Sansa Clip+ directly from BestBuy.com starting today, or will be available from other retailers starting 13th Sept. The 2GB player will cost about $40, the 4GB is $50 and the 8GB wil cost about $70.

ASUS, which is better known for it Eee netbook series, now has confirmed its plans to launch a new product – an e-book reader, which will be using the Eee-brand. This will make Asus to compete with other e-book reader makers, such as Amazon (Kindle) and Sony which recently introduced thier own ebook reader. It is excpected that the Eee e-book reader will be in the market before the end of this year.

Ebook Reader

Other than Asus, MSI, another player in the netbook market also said to be involved in manufacturing the ebook reader. It is said that the ebook readers are cheaper to produce and manufacture compared to the netbooks, making this two companies want to involve themself in the ebook reader market.

Sony Touch Reader

At last, after all the rumours, Sony today will introduce two new ebook devices. The first will be a pocket edition which brings a 5-inch screen ebook reader for USD$199 and the other one ia touch-screen ebook reader for USD$299. This both version are Mac compatible, and can read various formats, such as *PDF, Microsoft Word, and many other text documents. More over, Sony also plans to start selling all new releases and best seller ebook starting at USD$9.99, down from USD$11.99. What is interesting about the device is that, it also offers access to Google’s public domain library. This nice and handy ebook reader will be available at multiple retailers, which includes Sony’s online store, Best Buy, Borders, Staples, Wal-Mart, Target and Costco.

Regarding power consumption, these LED TVs is 40% lower in comparison with traditional LCD TVs. With pricing starts at £750, the LE600 and LE700 offered in 32?, 40?, 46? and 52?(LE700 only) sizes.
