CrunchPad

As for now, many people may have known about the TechCrunch’s Michael Arrington’s new hardware project, the CrunchPad tablet. Today, The Straits Times claiming that the developer, Fusion Garage is getting the device ready for the masses by November 2009. There are still not so many details are available about the new CrunchPad. Some basic info that are known are that the tablet will use 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor, 1 GB RAM, and will weight about 2.64 pounds. The Crunchpad also will carry a USB port for keyboard and mouse, and a built in WiFi and 3G connectivity to keep you stay online. The price is still unconfirmed, but estimated to cost around $400.

Ok it’s just another netbook, you don’t need to read the rest of this post. manufactured by Gateway Computer, the LT2000 netbook comes with a 10.1-inch TFT LED-backlit display (it seems every new netbook has LED screen now), three USB 2.0, Ethernet and VGA as well as a multi-in-one digital card reader. Sure it’s powered by 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor, 1GB RAM, and 160GB SATA hdd (very common right?). Other highlights: 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, Web Camera, Two Built-in Stereo Speakers, and Dolby Headphone Technology.

“The new sleek Gateway LT2000 netbooks let customers do more with their time on the go – from enjoying the Internet to video chatting and staying in touch via email and social networks,” said Ray Sawall, senior product marketing manager for Gateway. “The expressive design is modern and stylish, looking perfect whether it’s used for work or play.”

The Fujitsu FUTRO S100 is a thin client that’s designed for thin applications of course. Powered by a 500MHz VIA Eden ULV (Ultra Low Voltage) processor, the PC has 1GB of RAM, 2x USB ports and Audio ports (both mic and speaker). No words on pricing and availability, but I think it will hit Japan first before they consider to ship it worldwide.

The Linux-based GPS-oriented phone NUVIFONE G60 is expected to be available in Malaysia within the next 30 days. The G60 features voice prompted turn-by-turn directions, onboard maps and millions of POIs, but I’m not sure whether the datas is localized or not. Other specs that you can expect: 3.55? touchscreen, 3MP camera, 4GB built-in memory, MP3 playback, quad-band GSM, and 3G/WiFI/Blurtooth support. And last but not least, Garmin-Asus also plans to launch Windows-based NUVIFONE M20 at the same time and the same place.

Sharp unveils two series of LED TVs in the UK, the LE600 and LE700. Both series have 2x 10W speakers, 4x HDMI 1.3 ports and a USB port. Regarding power consumption, these LED TVs is 40% lower in comparison with traditional LCD TVs. With pricing starts at £750, the LE600 and LE700 offered in 32?, 40?, 46? and 52?(LE700 only) sizes.
